Answer:
The answer is 5/4, and here’s why:
Area of square ABCD = 25 so side = 5
Side of small shaded square = x
Side of large shaded square = 5-x
(5-x)^2 / x^2 = 9
5-x/x = 3
5-x = 3x
4x=5
x=5/4
The answer is B) 5/4
